Improving Students’ Vocabulary Mastery: Strategy, Obstacles, and Problems

The objectives of this research are to: (1) elaborate the teacher strategy in improving students’ English vocabulary mastery; (2) analyze obstacles faced by (3) difficulties students mastering Vocabulary. This is a qualitative which kind case study. subject at primary level amount 13 students. In collecting data used observation, interview, and documentation. Validity test uses triangulation technique resources. Data analysis 3 stages namely reduction, display, conclusion. results as follows: teacher’s mastery using games audio-visual learning media; diversity Pagentan limitation text book Buddhist Sunday school; Vocabulary lack ability pronunciation, to write, spell.
